Danielle and Jonathan traveled from the Bay Area after falling in love with the venue’s distinct character. One of my favorite things about the venue is how versatile the outdoor spaces are. Couples can design their day around the landscape itself. That’s what Danielle and Jonathan did! They hosted their ceremony beneath the shade of mature trees, enjoyed cocktail hour on the lawn, and celebrated their reception under the glow of string lights.

The estate also has a wonderful sense of privacy. Even though it’s conveniently located near Sacramento, once you arrive it feels tucked away from everything else. That quiet setting allows couples and their guests to fully settle into the celebration without distractions.

Their Outdoor Cavaignac Estate Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony took place outdoors beneath a canopy of trees that provided beautiful natural shade for guests. Even with the windy weather that day, the ceremony space felt calm and intimate, with the soft movement of florals and greenery adding to the romantic atmosphere.

Danielle walked down the aisle with her father and stepfather. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the crowd for this!

Surrounded by 115 of their closest friends and family members, Danielle and Jonathan exchanged vows in a ceremony that felt heartfelt and personal. 

A Garden Party Reception Under the String Lights

Following the ceremony, guests gathered on the lawn for cocktail hour beneath shaded umbrellas, enjoying the relaxed garden party atmosphere. The soft breeze moving through the property and music playing in the background were a perfect start to the evening.

The reception continued outdoors with a dance floor set beneath glowing string lights. As the sun began to set, the space took on a warm and romantic atmosphere. It would soon transform into a lively dance floor where guests celebrated late into the evening.

One of the sweetest details of the night was the couple’s vintage-inspired heart-shaped cake, decorated with the words “Just Married” written across the top. As the sky turned golden, Danielle changed into a fun second look. She wore a short dress with off-the-shoulder sleeves and came out in it just in time for the cake cutting and the start of the evening’s dancing.

The celebration quickly picked up energy as the DJ opened the dance floor. One especially memorable moment came when Danielle and Jonathan brought out two oversized cutouts of their dog to the dance floor, instantly filling the space with laughter and cheers from their guests.
